Two adult males in Stanly County are going through dozens of costs in relationship with an investigation into catalytic converter thefts and a local car sales small business, the sheriff’s business office said.
On Tuesday, detectives with the Stanly County Sheriff’s Office environment and Narcotics division finished up an investigation into various catalytic converter thefts in the county.
Sarch warrants were executed at Huneycutt Car Profits and Wrecker Service, at 907 West Major Road and at 121 Harwood Avenue, equally in Albemarle.
Investigators arrested and charged Richard Stephen Huneycutt and Haywood Richardson following the lookup.
Richard Huneycutt was charged with 29 counts of felony conspiracy, possession with intent to offer and produce Agenda II controlled compound, trafficking opium/heroin and possession with intent to offer and produce Plan IV controlled material.
Haywood Richardson was charged with 29 counts of larceny of motor auto elements, 29 counts of personal injury to property to receive non-ferrous metals and 29 counts of felony conspiracy.
Their initially courtroom look is on Monday.
